Do you want to stop overeating and take back control?

Overeating is uncomfortable, feeling bloated and tired is not fun. Yet we can find ourselves stuck in a cycle of doing this to ourselves.

This can often feel like it is coming from a place of just not eating enough during the day – which true – but to be not eating enough during the day you are not prioritizing yourself and there is more going on under the surface.

In this weeks blog post I share how to stop overeating and take back control in 5 simple steps.

With each blog post, I like to give even extra value. I invite you to watch the "Start Overcoming Emotional Eating Today: Master Class" I have created.

In this FREE master class you will learn the first step to overcoming emotional eating and exactly HOW to do this.

How to Stop Overeating and Take Back Control in 5 Simple Steps

1. Get Clear on Why You Want to Stop Overeating and Take Back Control

Think about the impact it is having on your life and the impact it would have to stop overeating and take back control.

2. Figure Out Why You Are Overeating

Are you leaving your meals too far apart where you are feeling really hungry by the time you do eat.

Is it emotional eating?

Is it a mixture of the two - or more things? (it often is)

3. Let go of the Negative Self Talk

Do you believe you are worthy of putting in the work to overcome this overeating and to have a healthy relationship with food and yourself? Dig into these beliefs you are holding onto which may be holding you back.

4. Recognize That You Are in Control of Your Actions

To stop overeating and take back control you need to make the goals. You can decide to pause when eating, allow yourself to understand why you want to keep going. Is it the taste? Rationalize with yourself… the food will still be there tomorrow etc.

If it is emotional eating, decide to pause beforehand and understand your triggers and how to address them.

5. Problem Solve And Work Through

If it is to do with hunger, problem solve how you can prevent the overeating. Shift the way you think about your situation.

In Closing:

To stop overeating and take back control it is important to make sure our beliefs are aligned with our goals (of stopping the overeating). Being able to shift the way you think about and work through situations is very powerful. I hope you enjoyed this weeks video!
