Hi, I'm Makayla

your food freedom coach with a passion for empowering others to heal their relationship with food.

I know what it is like to be stuck in patterns of yoyo dieting and emotional/ binge eating. The pattern is always reinforced by feelings of guilt and shame: it can feel very defeating and exhausting trying to use willpower to stop (hint: this is not the answer to overcoming it).

It took me many years to learn what I needed to to be able to heal my relationship with food and finally overcome the yoyo dieting and emotional eating. I came to realize very early on that I was not the only one who was struggling - it is now my mission to empower as many people as I can in healing their relationship with food (and themselves!)
